WATER POLO

Welcome to the water polo section of the website, where you will be able to find out all our results and fixtures.

Water Polo brings the sometimes individual sport of swimming into a team game.  It combines both skill in dribbling, passing, holding formations and high levels of physical fitness.

Seagulls began its water polo addition to the club in 2005, when invited to join the Dorset Mini Polo League.  Mini polo is a less facilitated beginning of the Water polo game.  In 2006 Seagulls won the Dorset Mini Polo League in the Key Stage 3 age group (years 7,8,9 at School) and came runners up in the Key Stage 2 League (years 5 and 6 at school).

The 2006/2007 sees the resurrection of the Dorset Senior Water Polo league, with another league for Junior Teams (14-17years old) and the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 2 leagues.

We have entered the following teams in leagues for the 06/07 season:

Seagulls will be starting a weekly Water Polo training session on Sunday mornings at New Milton Recreation Centre at 7.45am-9.15pm from November 5th.
